Hedvig Eleonora
Alternative title, Steffe goes to church, but not really. This is the cemetery at Hedvig Eleonora church at Östermalm on a sunny summer afternoon in August. The summer café always draws a big crowd from the nearby offices. And mid-lunch people turn their heads and look out onto the street, Sibyllegatan, when the Royal Swedish Mounted Guards ride past from their visit to the castle.

An odd spot to be sitting in.
Nice a cemetery with a terrace were you can eat and drink. Also good for the good old army show.Great pictures again Stefan.
The Royal Swedish Mounted Guards impressed me. It's a sight I don't see very often.
Many churches have a summer cafe over here, sometimes with free coffee, or tea. The Medieval church in Västerhaninge close to where I live usually serves it free.
It is nice for the church to connect to the community so well.
That royal Swedish guard parade is so good to see! Their uniforms look like brand new!
oh. It all looks so safe and comfortable. Even the beautiful horses are so well cared for.
That churchyard looks comforting. I'm imagining being laid to rest there with people visiting and enjoying themselves all around me.
