The Red Lock

If you live in Haninge and if you need a container chances are that you will get in contact with Sortera. They offer all sorts of products in the name of waste management and your garbage will not travel far as they have their headquarters in Jordbro where I took a fun snap earlier in the year. Anyway, I spotted one of their green containers at Tuvvägen in Handen yesterday, and it was one detail that stood out and made me jump off the bike for a few minimalistic photos. The red lock.

Visual Illusion

If you enjoy optical illusions you might like this photo. I shot it a couple of days ago at the Håga industrial park as I was trying to find something green for a UTATA project. The cool thing is that the perspective of the green barrels seems to change if you look at them for a while. So be sure to do that! I enjoy minimalism. And I'm always looking for it. Using the simplest materials and forms available often makes for great art and form. Like here at Nederstaleden in Västerhaninge. A white brick wall and a white wooden fence. Just like that.

Over at flickr I'm one of the moderators at a cool group called Blue Yonder. It's for photos with a clear blue sky with no more then one object in the photo. This is a detail of a big crane used at a building site that I keep track on.
