Tyresö Palace
Situated at the beautiful Kalvfjärden Bay, this is Tyresö Palace. Gabriel Gustafsson Oxenstierna inherited the land here in 1620 and had the palace built. The castle has changed owners a few times during the centuries. The last private owner was Claes Lagergren and his American wife Caroline, born Russell. The owner today is the Nordiska Museet.

Vissvass
I took a bike ride to Tyresö last Sunday, the third that week. This time via Åva and Vissvass. The Falu-red buildings along Sjöviksvägen are part of the old village Vissvass by. The second photo shows a cottage called Lillmyra. The third and fourth photo shows a property at Mörkdalen. This area is very popular with hikers, there are trails everywhere and it is very close to the Tyresta national park.

Tyresta National Park
A couple of photos from a recent visit to the Tyresta National Park. The bird tower is newish, built maybe a decade ago. From up there you have a good view of the wetland. If you look to your left you can see the working farm at the old Tyresta village. The house on the hill is another old farmhouse, Erikssongården, today the headquarter for the caretaker at the National Park. The cows were in a pasture on that hill.

Tyresö-View
This is a newish highrise called Tyresö-View. Up until last week, I had never photographed it, but after three visits to the neighboring municipality in the last week, I now have a few different photos to show you. The building is 82 meters high. It is a 23-story building with 125 apartments that sits next to the Tyresö mall. The first photo was a bit tricky. It is a panorama made from fifteen photos, taken with my Canon 6D using a Sigma 50mm lens. The second and third photos are also panoramas but not from as many photos. The last one took only four shots. I often use this technique because I can't stand the distortion I get from the wide-angle lenses.

Snösätra spring beast 2020
The Snösätra spring beast 2020 usually takes place during the spring, but not this very unusual year of course. I visited the forgotten industrial area at Rågsved earlier this week. No sign of the official Snösätra spring beast 2020 festival but I counted around 20 street artists working on their murals as well as a bunch of photographers and onlookers. More photos from the Snösätra Graffiti Wall of Fame to come.

Graffiti Wall of Fame
Together with three friends, I visited the forgotten industrial area Snösätra in Rågsved yesterday. It was abandoned because of a lack of accessibility. The owner then gave the okay for graffiti artists to use the area. Since then this place is known as Snösätra Graffiti Wall of Fame and it attracts graffiti artists from all over the world. I will show you more photos in the coming days.

1963 Corvette Sting Ray
I tried my luck with a couple of bokeh panorama photos a few warm days ago. I spotted Robert Hoffman from Speed Pro in his 1963 Corvette in Handen and decided to take a few shots. The top photo consists of nine photos stitched together. Shot with my Sigma 50mm 1.4 using the Canon 6D. The second photo is twelve photos stitched together using the same settings. I emailed the photos to Robert who showed them to his own photographer and they both liked them. www.speedpro.se/

Abstract suprematism
Another photo used in a Facebook quiz. The top photo that is. I figured it would be tricky, but someone figured it out. A gable at the new retirement home,(second photo), in Brandbergen. It is called Villa Tjädern,(wood grouse). In the foreground, you can see the miniature golf course at Haninge Bangolf.

Wired
Nya Carnegiebryggeriet opening a beer-tapping facility at the Jordbro industrial park. The beer will still be brewed at the LUMA building at Hammarby Sjöstad in Stockholm. I took this photo mainly for a Facebook group that sometimes uses my photos as a quiz. I thought that it would be tricky to identify this brand new building, but I was wrong. The second person to leave a comment knew exactly what it was. I will show you a few more quiz photos in the coming days.

Sixteen recent summer photos
Sixteen leftover Summer photos from Haninge and Nynäshamn. New apartment building Fyren with a great view over the archipelago in Nynäshamn under construction in the first photo, shot from the observation tower at Trehörningen. Six photos from a BBQ at Villa Blåmes in Norrby. The chef of the day, Jujja,(second photo), made some tasty grilled trout and a rhubarb pie for dessert. Two cyclists out riding on their Canadian bikes at Lövhagen in Nynäshamn. A family of three coming back after some kayaking around Lövhagen. I snapped the photo of the beetle from the pedestrian bridge crossing Gudöbroleden in Handen as I made my way to Villa Blåmes at Norrby. Also, a photo of the new water tower in Nynäshamn shot from the old water tower in Nynäshamn. The sunset at Norrby. Four people having some fun on a raft at Lake Drevviken. Oh, and Hasse smoking a cigar just to piss me off.

A summer promenade
I took an early morning promenade with a friend a few days ago. We had coffee first in an old water tower turned an observation tower, (you can see the tower in the second last photo) where you have a decent view over Nynäshamn, (the last photo). Here are a few photos from that morning. The picturesque ring road walk is a favorite of pretty much everyone who lives in Nynäshamn.
