A blooming canola field. Photographed from the bike path at Nedersta yesterday afternoon. Belongs to the Nedersta Gård that dates back around 700 years. You have met the current farmer here on the blog a number of years ago, and I have shown you countless views from the farm. Oh, and the bridge to the right is Krigslidabron.

A fairly common crop here too.
Not very common here.
That is my memory of Sweden especially down in Skane.
So. Now it is all clear. I see why there are so many yellow fields.....rapeseed. And they end up as canola oil. A little slow at things - but a light bulb went off when I saw the Swedish word and canola together in one post......Sometimes it takes a while to learn things.
