Classic alley at Katarina on Södermalm. Made famous in the Millennium novels as Lisbeth Salander lived in an apartment on the top floor here. Höga stigen means the high path, and just around the corner from here you have a great view over Stockholm, and I might go there later today as the offshore race Gotland Runt starts in a few hours time.

So this is the neighborhood where you have to pay the top price for your apartment.It looks very cozy.

Never read the books. But I like the view.
Those were great books.
There are a few other places in Stockholm where you would have to pay much more for an apartment, but I would prefer Södermalm before those other places.
Just reading the name Lisbeth Salander makes me shudder.
