We are more than halfway through the beautiful month, as it is called in Swedish, sköna maj. It is green everywhere. I have been out photographing all over these last few weeks. But there is one place where I know that things are normally a bit slower. The old tree. So I waited a bit longer, but on my way home yesterday I figured it was time for a pre Summer visit to the Swedish Whitebeam. But as you can see, the tree is still bare.

There is such a fresh green grass encircling the lonely tree
The path circles the tree. There are often horseback riders here from the nearby farm. They can also ride around the hill further down the path.
I have been following your postings about "That Old Tree" for a longtime. I hope (she?) (he?) is still in good shape.
And still going strong by the look of is Stefan.
It's ready for summer.

I was at a place called Gärdet idag. Part of Royal Djurgården in Stockholm. Found a Cherry Blossom tree in full bloom there. So I took a few photos, as did everyone else that walked by.
She goes to the beat of her own drum and won't be rushed. ;-)
