Quarnevalen, the before photos
I visited a carnival this past weekend. Quarnevalen. Held every three years, but because of the pandemic, the 2020 carnival never happened. It is a big event. 1500 or so students from the Royal Institute of Technology take part. They spend about one week building funny and weird looking floats for the spectacle. A tradition that dates back more than a century. Then at 1408 hours in the early afternoon on Saturday, they set off from the KTH University Campus at Valhallavägen in Stockholm. I arrived a little early just in case, and so obviously the start was delayed for at least half an hour, which gave me some time to wander around with my cameras and take a few "before" photos, and these are some of those photos.

Quite a contrast in these shots.
A perfect opportunity to get some awesome shots Stefan. I will try it tomorrow on a rolling kitchen event.
These are wonderful images!
Why I love street photography. All these photos were taken in the same general area at the campus.
A great series of street shots. Well done!
A super series of shots. I love the different groups in their distinctive outfits.
So, who are the guys in tail coats. Students will do lots of thing....tailcoats? Ah well, probably some group. Never mind.
