Out on the frozen lower lake at Rudan, 100 meters away from the coffee drinking vikings in yesterday's post, a few tough ice fishers were having no luck at all. But they are probably back there today.

Cold affair.
Very cold. We used to have ice fishing shacks to stay warm. Benches to sit on and something to keep you innards warm, a good bottle of whiskey.
The fishermen usually have huts here like Bill said.
Never seen a hut here, probably against the rules in the reserve. Also, it is a very small lake, surrounded by a forest, so no real cold Winter winds here. But the whiskey sounds like a good idea!
Gosh they are keen in the cold, I hope they catch something.
I guess you have to be an optimist to be a good fisherperson!
Not an activity I would want to take part in.
