Hotel Esplanade, and Hotel Diplomat, both with the same address Strandvägen 7. Known in Swedish as two Jugend palaces. The palace housing Hotel Diplomat has been a hotel since the mid 1960s. The buildings date back to around 1910. One famous man that lived here before the hotel era was Ivar Kreuger, known over here as Tändstickskungen. The views from the palaces are not bad at all as they overlook Nybroviken.

So, Mr. Kreuger had a good view. Well, grand places usually do. I guess. I've not lived in any. The Match King seems to have had a questionable end. Thanks for a bit of background on the buildings....
