An unexpected sight

Nationalmuseum
From my bike ride through Stockholm, on what we call Midsommarafton, I came upon these shopping carts down by the water at Skeepsbrokajen. In the background on the other side of the water you can see the Nationalmuseum. Behind me is the Royal castle.

Looks to me they are just fished out of the water. A well known phenomena in Amsterdam but makes a nice composition with that museum on the background

Aha, that is probably a more likely scenario. Thanks.

I agree with SC, in Amsterdam with many canals it is the same problem, mostly with bicycles.

We have the same problem here in Canada. Steal the cart and push it into the deep water when finished with them.

Here you can find carts in some of the rivers.

It seems like fools everywhere toss carts into the water.

What a contrast.

Maybe it's another art installation.
