The Butterfly

The Butterfly
Fjärilen. The Butterfly. Made by Elli Hemberg some forty years ago. It measures 6,3 x4 x 4,4 meters. Based on dynamic symmetry. You will find it in one of the more popular parks on Kungsholmen. At Rålambshovsparken, nicknamed Rålis. This photo already feels a bit dated to me, which is weird because I took it just a week ago. But Spring really exploded two days after I snapped this, and I have a few more Summer like photos to show you from here soon.

Even the gulls like it or perhaps just the food but a nice form. Only the graffiti spoil the look a bit.

Interesting sight. Too bad about the graffiti.

It is a graceful structure. Sad that people feel a need to leave their mark on things.

It's a neat place to sit with friends, shame its got graffiti on it but you get that everywhere.

It could use some new paint.
