A Fibonacci Spiral

I'm fascinated by Fibonacci Spirals. They are everywhere in nature. Here in a Tussilago fanfara. Another sign of spring 2008!

I learned about that in my children's math lessons. It truly is very interesting!

I've said it before, this is a clever flower. If it had appeared later in the year noone would have noticed this little yellow comrade. Now it has got the entire stage to itself. Timing is everything!
