The Fugitives
After spending several years standing outside a hamburger joint in Handen, Clovve and his girlfriend Clovina finally had enough. No more advertising for fast food and ice creams. So late one night they left. I caught up with them yesterday in a forest. They seemed genuinely happy.

A Tastier Coffee?
On a recent visit to Coop Forum I noticed this coffee ad. Apparently Sweden has a new favorite coffee brand. I did not know that. I guess I will have to change to Löfbergs Lila now. Listed on the map of Sweden here are some of the places that serve this coffee, but I think I will stick with Gevalia.

Can you read Swedish?
If not, it's probably because you don't speak the language. But, it could also be that you have a problem reading mirrored writing. I'm guessing that the creative director behind this ad campaign suffers from a diffuse cerebral disorder. Or is it that he (or she), really know how to think out of the box?

Ad Campaign Humour
We all know the pope joke used as a metaphor. Over here a broadcasting company called Viasat decided to use this kind of humour in their latest ad campaign. Two typical Finns (if you like stereotyping that is), are talking. In this one (there are three versions), the dialog goes something like this: Is the sauna warmed up Jarmo? Does the Pope sleep on his back? When you're done laughing head over to the next joke. There has always been a love/hate relationship between Finland and Sweden. As is the norm between good neighbours! Swedes see finnish men as heavy drinking sauna types always wearing a knife. Whereas finns thinks of the swedish man as a big sissy. Me, I don't have a sauna, but I do drink, and I own a knife, but it's just a Swiss Army Knife.

Dykes!
Found a weird ad today. Only one word on this black advertising board. Flator. There's only one translation for that word, and that's Dykes! The answer to what this is about should be here somewhere but I can't find it.
