That Old Tree
Greyvember continues. Now with added winter cold and frost. And more mist. This was the scene at the old tree yesterday. A couple of degrees below zero. I can tell you that it was a cold winter ride on the bike, and I have now ordered tires with hardened steel spikes!

Wow! "That Old Tree" always impresses me.
You have captured the light wonderfully, Steffe. I love the way it streams in from stage right. The grass reminds me of the "texture" that hairdressers are obsessed with nowadays.
Lovely winter shot. I like it.
Stunning, this is the sort of photo which makes my heart melt (but not the snow melt).
This one has to be my favorite of all of the tree photos. But I say that every time you post a new one.
Another stunning interpretation of 'your' tree. I'm stunned by this one.
The frost around the grass only emphasizes the tree. Beautiful, Stefan!
Det gamla trädet gjorde sig ovanligt bra i frostkläder. Underbar ton i bilden som du lyckats fånga!
A beautiful, frosty scene!
I need to find an old tree to photograph. Fabulous and frosty.
Intriguing and inventive. Did you do a color to grayscale conversion in the computer?
Thanks all.
No conversion at all here Bob. This is how it looked. I was of course helped a little by the low standing sun.
Another wonderful photo of this famous old tree !
Extremely beautiful in the winter splendor !
This is one of my fav shots of the old tree Steffe, the soft grey diffused background is wonderful.
Stunning photo. You got this one perfect.
Magical, I like the idea of a 'spike bike'.
One of the most famous trees of the blogosphere...
Beautiful scenery at that old tree.
That Old Tree looks dazzling in Grayvember.
An amazing scene with some really beautiful light.
