That Old Tree

That Old Tree
My latest visit to the old tree. Not too cold looking at the outdoor thermometer, but if you add the strong wind over the open fields around Välsta it was one of the more unpleasant bike rides/walks to the Swedish Whitebeam. No one else around which was perfectly understandable. The weatherman warned for a heavy snow fall later today. The result of that might be seen here tomorrow.

One of the things we worry about when playing golf is the wind. We can play when the temps go low, but not if there's any kind of wind.

What do you mean, no more photos of the old tree? Of course, you are going to post more. This one with that strong blue streak, is one of the best recent ones.

I just noticed the lack of feedback on this post and figured I must have published one photo too many of the old tree. But I agree with you on this photo, that bit of blue sky makes it a good one.

That is a good question Grace. Kjell Bergqvist, whose family lived here for many years emailed me a photo of the Sih Whitbam a few years ago. Taken bak in 1970. Follow this link to see it.
