Winter Construction
It was windy yesterday. Adding the wind chill factor to the Winter temperature it can't have been much fun sitting on that garage yesterday. But if you work as a builder in Sweden you can't stop just because it is Winter.
Om det blåst och kommit lika mycket snö som här de senaste 1,5 dygnen så hoppas jag att de hann försluta taket på garage-bygget (?) för att slippa skotta inomhus... ;-)

And what a beautiful house it will be!
Oh, it certainly does look like only hearty folks are doing outside work now. Looks a bit dangerous, too.
They did a great job in difficult conditions, you too Steffe :)
Life goes on in Sweden in the dead of winter. I would have thought things like this shut down temporarily. Lovely house, though.
Hard work! We have no wooden buildings here.

You must be having quite the building boom.
In the USA, your photo would be evidence of at least three violations of Occupational Safety and Health Act standards:
(1) the ladder does not extend at least a meter above the work surface;
(2) the workers are 6 feet (not quite 2 meters) above the ground and are not tied off with a lanyard and harness to catch a fall; and
(3) they are not wearing a hard hat.
The citation could be $7,000 per item, except if the boss willfully violated a standards, or it is a repeat violation, it could be $70,000 per item.
I would think that in a country such as Sweden that is know for it social welfare, there would be strict worker safety standards.
Have a look at this PDF-file Dave.
