Non-Electrocuted Birds
Every Thursday one of my flickr groups, Utata, asks us to go on a walk with a camera. So that's what I did yesterday. I came home with eight snaps. This was the last photo I took. Umpteen birds (give or take), sitting on an overhead power line at the Nödesta farm. Shot this with the Tamron zoom lens from far away.

Wonderful composition ! That is dramatic.
I see this almost every day on high voltage electric lines the cross the highway on which I drive to work. No idea how the physics of this works, why they are not burned to a crisp.
