Gisela

Gisela

This is Gizzen. She's easy to spot I think. Gizzen lives in Västerhaninge, where I met her yesterday. As I saw her I figured she would be perfect for the 100 Strangers project. After a few questions about the project she agreed to have her photo taken. She is married and has a few kids. Gizzen is an animal lover. The family has dogs, cats, rats, rabbits and birds. Her husband Thomas is her Guardian Angel (as you can see on her tattoo). You should have met him she said, he's got a few tattoos on his face. That probably helped him when he got a role in one of the recent Beck movies. Maybe I will see him and Gizzen on their motorcycle some day. This is my 24th photo for the 100 Strangers project. You can see the rest of my strangers in my Set.

You can never judge a book by its cover. She sounds like a nice woman.

Great portrait, Steffe. She sounds a really nice woman. I like the character in her face and I love her individuality.

I was at my barber yesterday, we often talk about my photography projects, and when I described Gizzen he said, oh you mean Gisela so he knew her.

Tanya's comment about book covers is so very true.

Thanks for your comment and visit yesterday. The 100 strangers project sounds like a great way to expand your horizons. Nice work!

Great pic. I love your confidence. I am often too timid to approach strangers. The 100 Strangers Projects sounds interesting.

It's the best flickr idea ever! I have been wanting to meet Gisela's husband, but haven't meet him yet. He has some serious tattoos and I'm running out of time as they are moving north this summer.
