Old Town Christmas Market
There have been markets held at Stortorget in the old town in Stockholm for over 700 years. Must have been quite the experience walking around here during the Middle Ages. The annual Christmas market got under way in late November and is open daily. There are around 40 wooden stalls that sell everything from warm glögg to tomtar. The three stalls that you can see here sells tomtar, candy and angels.

I love the wee tomtar.
It's market season here as well, but a more recent concept.
Love the old shops charm!
Oh how I would love to visit this market.
It would be so much fun to visit this market.
The market looks like a place not to be missed.
Looks good, haven"t seen them here yet.
Wow, such a long tradition. It has a very inviting ambience.
Important that it has been so long-lived. May it have another 700 years!
I loved seeing the Julmarknad photos! It must be great fun to have glögg and visit the little, wooden stalls!
