The cobblestone square

Kullersten Benches Konditori Banantorget
A few photos from the banana square in Nynäshamn. When you walk across the square you are stepping on a sculpture made from 263 000 cobble stones. The landscape architect Lennart Lisjö came up with the idea of creating a rose made from stones back in the mid-1970s. Around the square you will find both City Hall and Folkets Hus as well as a gym and a cafe and more. I shot the first two photos as bokeh-panoramas.

This is a very special place, Steffe. I would like to see it in person.
