Jursta Runestone
Legend has it that this Viking era runestone at Jursta in Ösmo socken in Nynäshamn was once used as a stove. That didn't end well as mysterious things started happening in the house. It was soon out by the side of the road again. The inscription translated reads: Gynna had the stone raised after Saxe, Halvdans son. I snapped this photo on one of my three recent bike rides to Nynäshamn.
