A red squirrel up in the oak in the back garden, enjoying it's lunch. Looks like it's hazel nuts on the menu today, on this the real first day of winter. More squirrels here.

Oh, he's adorable! We don't have reddish squirrels here - ours are brown on the West coast and grey on the East coast. But this little guy is so cute! I love the reddish colour.
