Djurgårdsbrunnskanalen
Whenever I visit Royal Djurgården the camera will be working non-stop. The canal is only a small part of the island, but it sure is photogenic. Here are a few of the photos I took on a visit last week. Djurgårdsbrunnskanalen, as we like to call it, is around one kilometer long. You pass a couple of bridges, museums, sculptures and also the home of Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia during that kilometer. The canal dates back 185 years or so. It took ten years to build. Hundreds of boats and ferries pass by here almost every day. This is a very popular area for running, walking, and everything else really.
