A couple of Summers ago the municipality decided to stop mowing the lawns in Haninge. A great idea that received a lot of praise from everywhere. And I'm guessing, especially from all the busy bees and insects. This year sadly something went very wrong. I still see many of the signs, like here at the big park in Handen, but they have mowed everything.

How good ideas sometimes get bogged down in government burocracy.
An excellent idea, as bees are disappearing. I wish they did the same here
It made sense to let nature take it's course. Too bad that someone thought otherwise.
Oh no I wonder why it was mowed since the sign is so clearly there. Hopefully it won't be again!

I could have photographed a few more places where this had happened but I didn't have the energy to do that.

Very odd. Do you have the energy to call someone, or see what the heck happened?
Ha. That will take more energy than taking a photo. Personal energy is a precious
commodity as I am finding out in my old age.
