A difficult balance- nature versus progress.
Sad to see a forest disappear. But this makes a good photo.
It looks like the desolate, dry American west.
That is a sad development.
Where have gone the trees?
Oh no not a whole forest Steffe, that's tragic! Super photo though!
No idea what happened to the trees VP, other than that they are long gone. I met a woman here in the actual forest a few years ago and took her portrait as she was standing there plying the flute. Last time I met her she was very upset about the disappearing forest.
