Anemone hepatica
I had a feeling that if I just walked into the forest at the Iron Age burial site near the Björklund horse farm (two places that you have seen here before), I knew that I would probably find the first "blåsippa" of the year, and here it is. Maybe a centimetre across, so it was good that I had the extension tubes with me.

This little beauty started my Minnesota gray day just right...with a smile on my face and hope in my heart. Spring. . .bring it on!
What a beautiful purple!
Pretty little bloom Steffe, fab macro shot!
Ah, so gorgeous. It looks like a little firework.
The extension tubes are so light but my camera bag is so full. Glad you had it with you.
