Fact:
If you wear a camouflage uniform when ice fishing, the fish can't see you. And it worked because this guy had actually caught a fish. As seen at the Lower Lake at the Rudan nature reserve yesterday afternoon. The meteorologist had promised warm weather with a blue sky but that never happened. Instead it was freezing when I jumped on the bike for my daily ride. There was another ice fisher next to the camouflage man and he told me that the ice here was still around 20cm thick.

På vår resa genom mellansverige under söndagen (på hemresa från Säfsen) såg vi en pimplare sitta låååångt ute på en av sjöarnas isar. Det är säkert rogivande att pimpla om man har varma kläder och skor och slipper allt för mycket blåst. Jag har själv inte pimplat på några årtionden men minns det som spännande, dock går det inte upp mot fiske i fria vatten där man mer aktivt söker fisken med sina beten (spinnfiske eller flugfiske).
