That Old Tree
It was a very cold weekend. And rainy. I could probably keep complaining but let's leave leave it there. I did manage to get one or two fine photos and this is one of them. A young girl out horse-back riding at the old tree.

Long after you have worn out your camera this tree will still stand unless the planners and developers made plans for housing here.
They have already tried. Twice. First the land owner wanted to build a golf course here. Big fail. A couple of years later he proposed that the area would be used to create the new national horse racing arena. Luckily for everyone living around here that never happened.
Wow what a sight. We had a rainy and cold weekend as well.

Your old tree is becoming an old friend of mine! Does the owner know about all your photos; have you shown any of them to him?
The owner is a guy called Mikael Engström. Born and raised here in Tungelsta. I have met him once, but that was a few years ago now. Not sure if he is up to date with the photos. The land is used by a farmer. The Andersson family they have lived here for three hundred years and they know about the photos, and you have seen one or two of them here on the blog.
Tree, horse, rider a different combo along this road.
A beauty. The small figure on a horse adds to the composition. I always love seeing that old tree.
I agree, lovely composition Steffe.. I hope nothing ever happens to the o!d tree, we would all be devastated :)
It looks in great shape, and the rider adds something extra into the shot.
If I ever visit Sweden I will hug the old tree.
