The most brutal park bench I have found on my photo excursions around Haninge. And it is facing the wrong way, away from the soccer court/basketball court.

There isn't much good that can be said about it, that is for sure.
A 'brutalist' bench, that's a rarity!
But is it facing the sun? That's what counts in my book.
It does face the sun you are right about that Birdman. There was a forest fire here back in 1947. The row houses and high rises in Brandbergen dates back to 1970 so I guess that's when someone designed the brutalistic bench.
Armstöden ser hemskt oförlåtande ut men själva sittdelen verkar ganska välformad. Trä som material är ganska "varmt". Eftersom den är vänd bort från idrottsplatsen kan man undra om den ska nyttjas av de som demonstrativt vill visa sitt ointresse för sport...?
At least it's sturdy.
