Winter vs. Summer
Continuing with my diptych series where I combine two photos to show two different seasons. This beautifully renovated house can be found at Ålsta in Tungelsta. The house looked like it was haunted for many years, and there was a few stories circulating about the family that used to live there. Today it's a different story. The new owners (the guy is a photographer), have done a great job rebuilding the house. These two archive photos shows the difference between summer and winter.

What a pretty house,- all year round! :-)
A cute house, and what looks to be a pretty nice yard to go with it. A gardener like myself could be pretty comfortable there.
now THAT'S my type of house, lovely! Wish we got snow here.
So cleverly done with such a good contrast
superbe série, je préfère l'hiver.
Such a clever shot. I wonder what it looks like at this precise moment. Is there snow on it yet?
It's around 8 C at the moment. We had some rain earlier in the day. No snow. It's been way too warm for that.
How pretty! I like these comparison shots.
I love this effect. And the house does look to be wonderfully restored.
You are an artist Steffe, I like your photos so much!
What a brilliant idea, Steffe! Great job!
Fab shot! I love the contrast between winter and summer :-)
Thanks all. This view has improved a bit the last few years as the abandoned plant nursery in front of the house is now gone.
What a difference a season makes. This is an excellent piece of work. Very clever.

Tis is almost perfect. I begin to like this diptych idea, but I think it's quite difficult to realize...
You have to remember from where to shoot. I'm pretty good at that these days, practise makes perfect!
nice captures
