Blue is the color

Blue is the color

All the snow from last week is almost gone now, but I still have a few winter scenes left to show you. You don't see that many houses around here painted in this blue color. One of Tungelsta's few remaining gardeners (eight out of ninety-five), live here. Rolf Andersson. Looking through my photos I found at least one photo from his plant nursery at Södertäljevägen.

I would be remiss if I did not ask: Is this painted wood or vinyl siding? It could be either but that color blue is seldom seen here in paint but is seen in vinyl siding. Anyway, it is a nice photo.

That's a very good question Abe. If I see the owner around, I will ask him, because I'm not sure about the answer.

It's a lovely shade of blue! And very pretty in this snowy scene. What's more unusual to me is the black roof. That's something I don't think I will ever see in the Philippines, given our very warm climate.

Lovely contrast.

I have been wondering what these homes you have been showing are made of as well. I watched an Icelandic movie last night that had similar homes and they appeared to be made of metal and were painted vibrant colors.

Most of the new homes in Tungelsta are probably prefab houses made of wood.

A wonderful Winter landscape and a beautiful contrast!! We are in Spring now with flowers starting to "burst out".

The sun is shining today and I'm guessing all the snow will be gone by this evening. But I still have one or two winter photos to show you, stay tuned!
