Winter!
It snowed yesterday. Predictable, because it happens a few times every year. If you drive a car, you need to have your Winter tires on. So obviously there was chaos everywhere, with long queues outside the places where you could have your tires changed. Police swung by a filling station near me where people were disagreeing on how queues really work. More problems in Stockholm where they decided that the streets were unsafe and stopped all the public transport buses! No such problems for me, though, so I went for a Winter promenade. And as I walked over a bridge I could hear the snow plow tractor behind me, and I first thought that he was driving on the street, but obviously he was clearing the walkway, so I had to jump out of the way for him a couple of times. More snow now as I am typing this, so chances are that it will stay for a few days.

It looks like a fairytale Stefan but perhaps not for the people who have to enduring this daily.
It's been snowing here off and on the last few days. I told a colleague this is why he should have put his snow tires on in October.
I am impressed with the winter wonderland in photo #2. ✲´*。.❄¨¯`*✲。❄。*。¨¯`*✲
Oh, this looks serious, so much snow. Here we only have cold, no snow yet.....
You got hammered with the snow. I don't know why people wait so long to get their tires changed, they did the same thing in Alaska too and then complained about all the chaos. :)
It looks gorgeous. Got my snow tires on 2 weeks ago.
Paradise! Love the crystal forest
There is a horse farm on the right side of the road. I noticed quite a few horses in the pasture in the forest. They spend a few hours there every day.
Several warnings for power outage here tomorrow. And people have been told to work from home if possible.
It feels like it is a growing problem. I don't remember it being like this a couple of decades ago.
Expect a familiar sight tomorrow.
Amazing.. I have noticed that things like Buffalo NY getting a lot of snow has become an unbelievable occurrence. Well, I guess the newscasters are all young. Power outages are something else again. I will be interested in your theories as to what's going on these days. Did they just happen as often then, and nobody had a computer or a cell phone or anything that needed to be charged up?
Or are there more people, with electricity being the primary source of warmth?
No commuter trains or buses in my area this morning. All thanks to yesterday's snow.
We seem to be more unprepared these days, and I can't understand why since we have so much more information and technology.
It's a winter wonderland!
