MV Britannia

Seventy Balcony Cabins
To disembark, or not to disembark, that is the question. I climbed up another hill. This time at Fåfängan, on Södermalm. For a couple of reasons. The view. The autumn colors, and also the big construction site at kvarteret Persikan. So where are all those views I hear you ask? They will come. But sometimes you also get a chance to photograph the big cruise ships from up here, so this is one such photo, of MV Britannia.

Yes there really is an entire city district floating by.

I wouldn't have guessed that was a cruise ship. It looks so huge!

That ship must be enormous. Great shot.

I thought it was an apartment building at first.

I don't know what to say. I think some things, but I'm not sure what. It's an interesting photo, I know that. Having context of it being a cruise ship kind of flummoxes me. What's Swedish for flummox?

Flummig.

Flummig. That I am, and fairly often actually. Thank you for your willingness to tell me Swedish words. Don't know why I like learning words in another language when I am not likely to use them. But flummig is good to my ear. And I think it might come in handy if I ever manage to get to Sweden. In some situations, I can point to myself and say Flummig!!
