6762, that was me. Haven't seen this one before. The number of cyclists that have passed by here in December. As spotted at Hanveden earlier today.

There's a sign here that reads bike traffic that I can think of- but that one is enclosed over the winter.
That is a cool idea! Maybe it gets people out on their bikes more to know they will be counted?

Nice that you can see the count. Here a lot of authorities count al kind of traffic including cyclists with a kind of cables over the pavement going to a black box to the side but you never see the results unless something is published in a statistic story about traffic or the necessity too remove a path or too broaden it. Your way is much nicer.
I think it will Pat, more and more people are cycling year round in an around Stockholm these days. We have used that same method here as well s.c, nationally. This is a project by some of the local municipalities.

Interesting. Were you able to see the actual bicycle counter as you rode past it?
I did not Rowen, but after reading your comment I sent an email to the municipality Åsling about a few facts.
