Another photo from my visit to the Rudan nature reserve last week. The Lower Lake is where you can find the fish, and these ice fishers were there to prove just that.It was a cold day, around -5C, not sure if they got anything.

I've tried this. These people are nuts!
Ice fishing seems to be popular here as well, though I've never understood why. I don't get regular fishing either.
Years ago when I went ice fishing, we always had a hut that we brought and setup. It kept us warm. We also brought some whiskey too and that added to the warmth.
