I wonder how long it will sit there!

It looks high and dry at present.

What an amazing project you've embarked on, Stefan!
I'm starting to wonder how long it will remain there.
The lettering is long gone but the carboard survived the cold, rain and snow. I'm sure it will weather out the sun, if no-one cleans up the ditch... to be continued?

Regarding your question about the flea market, to be honest I rarely buy much these days and this one didn't have anything nice in it but when my kids were little I used to buy used clothes to make costumes: hats, scarves, fancy dresses, whatever. I ended up having a chest full of clothes and the kids loved digging out stuff to dress up in.

And when I moved back from Australia and had to find things for my flat I found a few picture frames, some tea cups etc.

So yes, I did buy at times but not much anymore. You have to choose your market, some (like this one) don't have anything nice.

I wonder if this box has been treated with something. Ordinary cardboard should have collapsed and started to decompose by now. In any case, it makes for an interesting essay in stay power.

I view this as a meditation on entropy, and it's impressive.
