Energy, vitality and enthusiasm

The Bike Trial Rider
This is Martin Eriksson from Hudiksvall (way up North). He was in Haninge visiting his girlfriend. He has been working in Norway for a while, at the Baneservice (Railway company). He used to compete in Mountain bike trial and has won the National Championships and finished second in the World Championships, so he has to be pretty good at the sport, despite giving it up a few years ago. When we met he had been out riding in the forests around the Rudan nature reserve in Handen. Today is Theme Day. Zest. That means Energy, vitality and enthusiasm, and I really think Martin has all of that.

Energy? Check. Vitality? Check. Enthusiasm? Check.

If "six-pack" was on the list, he would get a check for that, too.

I think that he is an excellent example of Zest!

Yes, I'd say this guy is the epitome of zest. He must be an amazing athlete to win the national championship and finish 2nd in the world. Very impressive.

So swept away that I didn't even say what a great photo. I love the low angle you used so that he is clear against the sky.

Great portrait and interpretation on the theme.

He's so full of zest it's making me exhausted just looking at him Steffe :) Umm! Does he seem to be missing a saddle on his bike or does he just like to do it tough?

Very nice!

Good grief he's a zestful looking person. But where's his bike seat? Does he ride without sitting down?

It looks like some of you need to read up on Mountain bike trial! You can't sit and compete in that sport. It's all about balance so there is no seat.

No saddle? That's one tough guy.
