The Tattooist
I have to admit to toying with the idea of getting a tattoo. Maybe a camera or something like that on my shoulder, but it is yet to happen. One reason is that tattooing is very addictive. It is hard to stop after that first ink job. At least that is what people with tattoos keep telling me. Anyway, heading home the other day I met Niklas. He will definitely stand out from a crowd, even at a tattoo convention. Niklas works as a tattooist at Tatueringskompaniet.

He may have to wait until he gets older and his hairline recedes to find new skin to cover.
Steffe, if you got a camera tattoo on your shoulder, you might be tempted later to add a lens tattoo on the other shoulder. Then a filter or two. And what about a tripod? And a flash. Etc.
Wow!
niklas looks like a very interesting dude! i'm laughing at dave's comment :)
I think he's a walking advert.
Great portrait, as always. I am obviously out of sync, but I really do not get the beauty of tattoos, and this is a bit too much anyway.
Well, you'd remember seeing him, that's for sure!
I remember seeing a guy in winter with thorn tattoos that started at his hand before retreating beneath the sleeve of his coat. They emerged at his neck and covered half his face. The writer in me thought, "there's a character for a book."
He would certainly stand out in a crowd! I always wonder how these tattoos will look as the person ages.
This is too much. Literally. I see a young woman around here from time to time, who is tattooed so much that there is nearly no space left. I have resisted asking to photograph her because she doesn't look well.
No it's not addictive Steffe.. I had a tiny tat quite a while back and have no desire to have another. Looove Dave's comment :)
This is one brave chap! Must be painful having that needle work done.
