Motorcycle of the day

Quite a few bikers at the Vegabaren car meet. This motorcycle was a bit special with all the skulls and of course the machine gun! The owner looked very pleased with all the attention. Oh, and by chance just a day later I was walking through the Norra Begravningsplatsen cemetery in Solna when I spotted a gravestone where the inventor of the Swedish machine gun rested. Might show you a few photos from that walk in a few days time.

A second look at the Vegabaren car meet. I like the humour in the first photo, joking with Greta Thunberg, who is currently being targeted by the Israelis again.

Grand Prix Raggarbil 2025

After a few years in the wilderness the Grand Prix Raggarbil car meet was back at Vegabaren in Handen again. Arranged as usual by the greaser club the Moonshine Cruisers together with the people at the classic burger place. No crazy partying now, which was part of the charm for me and many other photographers back in the day. But there were a lot of cars to look at. I will show you more from the meet in the next couple of days.

Street art

Great street art at the legal graffiti wall Farstaväggen. I don't know who made it, but I have photographed the artists work at several different places around Stockholm in the last few years.

The Entertainer

Not asking for money or anything, just standing there playing his guitar. I like encounters like this one. I gave him a little nod after listening for a bit and taking my photo.

Not the song he was playing as I walked across Sergels torg, but it could have been.

Chief Officer

Out strolling at Blasieholmen recently. Walking down to Strömkajen for a look at the ferries. Spotting the Chief Officer at M/S Västan. She gave me the thumbs up after I snapped the portrait. For good measure I have added a photo of the ship, taken at the same pier, but one year earlier.

Street Party

Nytorgsfesten is a three-day-long street party at the end of the Summer. From Friday to Sunday. Held around Nytorget on Södermalm. These days regarded as a hipster area. Lots of live music, street food, and more. Artists were selling their work. I stopped by on the Saturday.

The Plank

A series of photos from Planket. The annual two-day photo exhibition at Södermalm in Stockholm. It dates back forty years. Anyone can sign up. This year they had an analog side, which was nice. I recogniced a few photographers, one from Flickr and one from the press.

Vanishing Point

The Path of Seven Wells. One of my favorite places to photograph at Skogskyrkogården. Sju brunnars stig. The 888-meter-long path between Almhöjden and the Chapel of Resurrection. Snapped a few days ago on my way in to the city. Theme day. Vanishing Point.
