Ye Old Farm House

My tenth photo of the old farm house at the Välsta horse farm. And the first summer photo of three. Although you could ask, what Summer? So far this months we have had two (2), warm Summer days! It's been mostly cold, wet and windy. I could go on and on about the missing Summer, but I don't have the energy to do that!

Eight months done in this project now. The trees are turning green and a horse decided to pose in the corner.

Seven months in now in this project. Winter and the cold weather returns. Oh, and there was a horse in the pasture but it refused to pose in front of the old warehouse.

My sixth photo of ye olde farm house at the Välsta horse farm. Not much snow left now, I'm hoping the horses in the background will return to the pasture soon, maybe in time to pose in front of the old warehouse for next months photo.

Five months in on this project now. A very wintery scene this time. A bit different from the December photo. You are looking at an old warehouse at the Välsta horse farm in Tungelsta. I'm taking one photo here every month for one year.

Here is the December version of the old warehouse at the Välsta farm. It's my fourth photo in the monthly series. Had I waited 24 hours it would have been a snowy scene, but the snow we got this week was gone in another 24 hours. Previous photos of the warehouse here and here.

Back at the farm

So back in September I showed you this old warehouse at the Välsta farm, and I informed you that many moons ago I had a photo project planned here, but that the old tree happened instead. Karl from Bolzano (a very wise man),said in a comment that a monthly series could work. Kay from Sequim ( a clever woman) figured that a photo every season would work. So I decided to shoot one photo per month, and here are the second and third photo from the new series. The misty shot is the November photo, taken this week. The one with a few leaves left dates back to the middle of October.

Autumn Equinox

Höstdagjämningen happened earlier today. Hösten/Fall/Autumn is officially here. The colors are changing quickly now. The temperature have dropped significantly. Stockholm got a new rain record earlier in the week. It is very windy most days. The mornings are cold as are the evenings, and it's getting darker earlier and earlier. But come Thursday the warm weather is said to be returning again. At least for a few days. Hurrah! Today's photo shows an old warehouse at the Välsta farm. Many years ago before I even started the That Old Tree project I had this view in mind for a weekly photo project. It never happened, but I have taken one or two photos here over the last few years. And who knows, this might be the start of a new monthly series.

New Warehouse

I find it interesting to document change. Any change. Not just the seasons. So I follow quite a few construction sites around haninge. This is from the industrial area in Jordbro. Frigoscandia is building a new warehouse.
