Piggelin

Piggelin
This is Piggelin. A local hedgehog. Been a regular all week. Twice, when there was no cat food out on the veranda Piggelin walked into the living room and ate the food in there. The cat, Tindra doesn't seem too bothered, but she looked a bit concerned when Piggelin turned over her water bowl. Yesterday evening after a longish dinner Piggelin fell asleep at the plate. I tried to get a few photos of the sleeping hedgehog but managed to wake it up as I walked out but that just got it's appetite up again!

In Hiding

In Hiding
This hedgehog is a frequent visitor at my veranda. Usually after dark when it can enjoy some cat food without being interrupted. It must have been hungry today as I heard it just after dinner. So I put out some food under the table as pigge decided to hide behind the broom until the coast was clear.

Hiding in the Grass

The Hedgehog

Out on a bike ride a few days ago, I noticed a movement by the side of the road. It was a hedgehog (or Igelkott in Swedish). It was busy trying not to be seen by anyone and especially not by nosy photographers. We locked eyes for a few seconds, and then I snapped a couple of photos before the hedgehog decided it was time to head off to safety.

Say hello to Pigge

Say hello to Pigge!

I was just out on the veranda when I met this little fellow. He said he was here looking for those tasty bird seeds. I call him Pigge. He is a hedgehog or as we like to call them an Igelkott.
