I was walking through the King's Park when I heard the walking band turning into Kungsträdgårdsgatan so I headed that way. Always fun to see The Royal Guard on their way to the Palace. It all looks beautiful, but I can't help feeling a little sorry for the horses that have to endure all this.

This would have been great fun to see (and photograph). We were in Stockholm a decade ago and saw a parade with about 50 horses and soldiers in uniform, but no band.
