The meeting

Mötet. The meeting. By Willy Gordon. At Östermalmstorg. The male part is the original sculpture, showing the naked man with his erected penis and a cut up animal on his shoulder. It dates back to 1974. The naked woman came years later, in 1988. By the same artist of course. Twenty years ago, someone cut off the penis on the male figure. Then, as the square was remodelled, the sculpture was removed. And now it is back. It was fun to see the kids climb the sculpture and the happy parents documenting it. The woman walking past the square smiling looked familiar but I can't place her.
