Astrid Lindgren. The Storyteller. I grew up with her voice. Listened to her reading all the stories about Pippi and Emil. Fifty years later, I can still hear that voice by just looking at this sculpture outside the children's library at Nya Karolinska. There is a similar sculpture, made by the same artist, Hilda Hillfon at Junibacken on Royal Djurgården

Yes it is, someone thought she must be cold!
A fine statue that honors this woman. My wife, when she was young, said she remembers the Pippi Longstocking stories.
