Summer in the city
Six late Summer scenes from around Stockholm. Top photo shows a young family checking out the view from Fjällgatan on Södermalm, where I snapped the regatta photos earlier in the summer. I titled the second photo, A man of the world. He was crossing Götgatan, and I was on my ebike at a red light. A new four-story IKEA opened at Gallerian at Hamngatan in late June. Next we see a woman on a bench, down by the water at Riddarholmen enjoying the view over Riddarfjärden towards Söder Mälarstrand. In the fifth photo, people are walking through the cemetery at Sandsborg in Enskede. It is just across the road from the big UNESCO World Heritage Site Skogskyrkogården. Lastly, we head over to Kungsholmen for a visit to Hornsbergs Strand. A new area with high-rises, restaurants and a very popular beach promenade.

We get a good idea how it looks over there and that gives a nice picture.
More beautiful city shots. That sounds like a very big IKEA store.
8000 square meters.
You have had some fine summer days and have given us such good tours of the city.
The fifth is my favourite.
The life there are captured in your great photo frames
A fine cemetery, and the road here is a popular shortcut for both school kids, young families and the odd photographer.
Looks to be such wonderful weather. Not too hot and not too cold. Just right for getting out and about.
