The old burial ground in Jordbro earlier today. Up to one thousand graves from around 500 BC to 500 AC. The largest such grave field in Sweden. A cold but sunny walk.

Fascinating!
Are there any markings on those stones or are they all too old.....
No markings on the old stones Judith. Most of the people that rest here were cremated. The remains were put in a wooden box or in a ceramic vase.
