Nedre Rudasjön

The Lower Lake Ice fishing
The Lower Lake at the Rudan nature reserve. I always shoot this view from the jetty in yesterdays post when I'm at the lakes. On the second photo you can see three Eastern European men ice fishing from another jetty. It is not safe to fish directly from the ice. Eight men have died elsewhere in the last week in this country because they believed that the ice would be thick enough.

Better safe than sorry and stay on the jetty.

Even the jetty looks a bit scary to me. I love that skyline photo.

People are always being rescued from the ice here as the warmer weather comes in. They just don't listen to the warnings.

People can be so foolish.
