Cederhusen

Cederhusen
The wooden houses, (Cedar), at Vegastaden in Handen. The first occupants moved in back in June. All apartments have a balcony or a terrace. There's also a bigger roof terrace open for everyone. The architect was BAU – Byrån för Arkitektur & Urbanism. The commuter station is a just short walk from the apartment building. All sold out, but expect to pay around 50 000SEK per square meter if you want to get your hands on an apartment here.

Thats one big wooden building. Wonder how it relates over time but looks great. Only pity that it use a lot of trees to get it.

I like the look of it! Hopefully they plant trees to replace the ones used and start the whole cycle over again.

Yes, that would get quite expensive.

Love the look of that building but for me I would prefer a concrete inner with a wood facing. I live in a concrete building with a sprinkler system that has put out a few fires already. I hope that place has a sprinkler system in it.
