That Old Tree
The month of May have been cold and windy so far. Biking home earlier in the week I made a quick stop at the old tree. The Swedish Whitebeam stands unprotected from the weather, and I can't remember the last time I experienced such a cold bike ride. It was horrible, and it took me an hour to warm up after I got home.

That looks so bleak!
I love this, very dramatic!
So it's still got that broken arm hanging off on the the left side of the photo. (For years, yes?) Sturdy! I'm hoping to see it in summer splendor in a while. Maybe you will be too. Ha.
I'm hoping to see it go green again Judith. It will be the last tree to do so around here but it is always worth the wait.
I think I've seen this tree before somewhere...
Beautiful shot !
I sure love That Old Tree!
Showing the old tree in a stark black and white suggests exactly the kind of frigid cold you had on your bicycle trip.
