When I see birches bend to left and right...
That famous poem works well here I think. A tiny birch forest at Håga in Västerhaninge, photographed earlier in the week on a gloomy December day.

I can't see the forest for the trees. (° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Dense is what comes to mind.
Birch forests are super photogenic!
These may not be leaning left and right as in the poem, but there are probably some that do. Ut is a lovely poem......and this is a lovely photograph. Yesterday's photo was as well. It may not be your favorite time of year, but you use your camera well anyway.
Thanks people. The dark weather continues. Rain. Gray skies. Dark. Might be forced to go out and shoot some Christmas lights soon.
